WALKING HELEN



In slumber soul wanders
the entire life of culture
chases Helen drawn out
like a Trojan to Troy or ships
launched.


In slumber through layers
of interior's meaning, a thought
largely mysterious, wanders
in thread oddly Homeric or stories
overlooked.
